A popular informational resource for the City of Miami, DowntownMiami.com Corp wanted to enhance the "packaging" of its destination portal. With knowledge of the City while working with the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) on several marketing engagements, brandEvolve meet with DowntownMiami.com and conducted a series of workshops aimed at bringing together with the Miami DDA, the Downtown Merhcant Partnership and DowntownMiami.com to a collaborative public/private partnership where all parties would gain from DowntownMiami.com's enhanced portal and CMS.
Along with a new site architecture, improved user interface and advertising model — "Downtown Miami's Best", a branded service of Downtown Miami.com that attracts over 2,000 Downtowners to celebrate the best that Downtown Miami has to offer, become one of the core values of the redesign strategy. In the second month upon relaunch, DowntownMiami.com had 40,000 visits.
